At selected times throughout the year, GFBC Upward Programs offer an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for our boys & girls. Upward Sports is focused on sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and promoting character & self-esteem in every child.

Upward Soccer

  • Upward Soccer is offered to boys and girls, ages 4 years - 7th Grade.

  • Registration begins in June.

  • Teams practice one day a week at the Upward Soccer fields.

  • Upward Soccer season runs from August through October.

 

REGISTRATION

  • Cost: $120

  • After July 7: $130

  • Deadline to Register: July 14

  • Soccer Jersey & Shorts Included

LEAGUE SCHEDULE

  • Practice starts the week of August 11.

  • First Game: Saturday, September 13

  • Awards Celebration: TBA

 

SOCCER EVALUATIONS

Every player must attend one soccer evaluation. Cleats Recommended for evaluations at Upward Park Soccer Field.

Upward Basketball Camp is designed to focus on fun, develop skills, and teach life principles. Each child will receive their own t-shirt, bracelet, water bottle, and basketball. Register today!

  • Registration cost is $60 per player.

  • Basketball camp will be held at the GFBC Family Life Center located at
    940 Main Street
    Gardendale, AL 35071.
