Read & Teach

Who are you in a world full of pride? Be ready to report and teach people, with WMLT, who this God is you serve? While this prideful world claims to know who you are, in this news station: WMLT 29 will read you the true facts. During VBS, kids will learn what it takes to be a journalist for God. It takes reading God’s Word to humble ourselves and turn from our sin. Then we must teach God’s Word to others. So grab your notepad, check the batteries in the camera, and load up the news van. It’s time to report who we are!

 
 
 

Kids, K3-5th grade, can start registering for Vacation Bible School! VBS this year is WMLT 29! Kids will learn how to become Junior Journalists in WMLT 29’s newsroom. We pray kids will open God’s Word and READ who they are. Reading God’s Word will humble us, and we pray they decide to follow Jesus all the days of their lives. After VBS, our prayer is that these new Junior Journalists will TEACH God’s Word to others and share with others who they are in God’s eyes. That is what WMLT 29 is all about: reporting who we are!

VBS VOLUNTEERS

VBS is going to be a fantastic week, but it wouldn’t be possible without volunteers like you! We need you to make WMLT 29 the BEST VBS yet!

Adults and students, 6th grade and older, can register to serve at VBS by emailing laciep@gfbc.org.

VBS Teen Training

The GFBC Kids Staff would like to invite any Teens (6th-12 grade), interested in being a part of VBS, to the Kids Theater on Sunday, May 3.  A Pizza lunch will be provided and a free shirt for all the Teens who attend the meeting. The meeting will take place as soon as the 10:50 AM service has concluded, and the training will finish before 3:00 PM. Excited to give these Teens useful tools and training they can use to help kids at VBS to read God’s Word and to teach God’s Word to others. We invite you to come be a part of WMLT 29: Reporting Who We are!
