LEGACY: Eras of the Church Lady

Thursday, SEPTEMBER 18 | 6:00 PM
South Campus | Fellowship Hall | Tickets: $25

“One generation shall commend your works to another,
and shall declare your mighty acts.”  Psalm 145:4

Ladies, you are invited! Join us on Thursday, September 18th for Legacy: Eras of the Church Lady, a special evening hosted by our Women’s Ministry.

We’ll enjoy delicious foods from across the decades, a special “OOTD” fashion show along with an inspiring message from Donna Gaines, and worship led by Bethany Gaines Golding.

It’s also a night to honor faithful women who have come before us and challenge the next generation to carry a faith-filled legacy forward.

Whatever era of life you are in, it’s your turn to walk out your faith, advancing the Gospel and telling the next generation the faithfulness of the Lord.

Special Guests:

An inspiring message from Donna Gaines and two of her daughters, Lindsey and Bethany.

Donna Gaines

Donna Gaines is the wife of Dr. Steve Gaines, pastor emeritus of Bellevue Baptist Church, and the mother of four and “Nonna” to 18 grandchildren. She is a passionate Bible teacher, disciple-maker, and author of four books. She also served as the editor of A Daily Women’s Devotional

Donna is the Founder and Chairman of the Board for the Pastor’s Wives and Women in Ministry Session at the Southern Baptist Convention. She is also the Founder and President of the Board for ARISE2Read, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the poverty cycle through the power of the gospel and literacy.

In 2022, Donna partnered with Robert Lewis of Better Man to develop REAL Woman, an 11-week discipleship curriculum designed to equip women to live out their God-given identity and calling. Learn more at realwoman.org.

Bethany Golding

Bethany Golding is a wife, mom of four, and former first-grade teacher who now embraces the rewarding chaos of stay-at-home mom life. Her days are filled with play dates, Chick-fil-A runs, and meaningful conversations around God’s Word. She teaches Sunday school to high school girls, and is always in a Bible study (or three). She loves Burn Bootcamp, Diet Coke, Mexican food, and making memories with her family—especially when it involves traveling.
