Teen Training

  • May 19th in the Kids Theater at 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM

  • If you have already signed up as a VBS volunteer and are under the age of 18 you are encouraged to learn classroom strategies to help students gain success during the VBS week.

I have registered my kids online. where do I go on Monday?

When you arrive on Monday there will be two different types of registration tables for each grade, a pre-registration and first-time registered. If you have registered online you will go to the pre-registration table for your child’s grade. If you have not yet registered you will go to the first-time registration tables for you child’s grade.

Sign Out Procedure

To sign out your child you will need to go to the following designated areas to pick up and sign them out using our sign out sheet:

K3 - K5: Pick up in their classrooms.

1st Grade - 5th Grade: Pick up in the Sanctuary.

My child just turned 3, can they come to VBS?

We offer VBS to K3s, who are potty trained, and have turned three by September 1, 2018.

What snacks do we serve?

During VBS we serve water, Chips Ahoy Cookies and Oreo Cookies. We chose those two brands because they are both allergen friendly. If you would like to donate cookies you may do so at our booth in the main lobby at the North Campus.

If my child is in the GFBC Day School can they go to VBS?

Of course! If your child is involved with our Day School program, he or she will have the opportunity to come to VBS. If your child is in the Day School program, and is registered to attend that week, will automatically be registered for VBS. For more information contact the Day School director, Lisa McGrady at 205.222.2038.
